Host a FINA competition
Bring FINA to your gym. Your athletes compete at home, and visiting athletes and families come through your doors. Here's how it works.

FINA competitions run at partner gyms across the US and Canada. The format is the same everywhere, so an athlete who walks into your gym knows what to expect, while your course keeps your gym's own creativity and flavor.

How hosting works
Email FINA
Email info@fina.ninja to say you want to host.
Set up your gym and request a date
FINA sends you to SportsEngine to add your gym's member information and submit a hosting form with your date. FINA approves or declines dates based on the season schedule.
Go live on the schedule
Once approved, FINA adds your competition to NinjaWorks, the league's timing system. It appears on FINA's schedule and in your own NinjaWorks account.

Send your course and obstacle layout and time limits to FINA's Course Approver at least five days before the event, in writing or by video walkthrough. The Course Approver looks at safety, the course rules, and time limits, not your creativity.
Course approval rulesRun it, and athletes earn their way forward
A full clear on a Speed or Endurance course earns a Finisher Badge (a Finisher pin for repeat finishes), the top three in each division earn podium certificates, and results count toward Sectionals, the end-of-season events that lead to the World Championship.
What FINA asks of partner gyms
Host gyms follow the Season 8 rules and the Partner Gym Code of Conduct: a safe, approved course and the positive, encouraging culture FINA stands for.
